HISTORY
Zion Hope Missionary Baptist Church was organized on the fifth Sunday in November 1950. It was organized with 42 members operating together as a prayer band under the leadership of Mother Pitts, Rev. J.S. Williams, Rev. E.A. Rundless, and Rev. E.R. Moore were the ministers instrumental in setting up the church. Rev. Hardy from Mt. Zion gave the church its name.
